Are you looking for a new dessert recipe? I promise you this avocado mousse is so easy to make and only requires a few ingredients. It’s full of protein and healthy fats! The taste is so rich. I love it!
I was making my typical chocolate protein shake one day. However, this time, I decided to throw in an avocado. I knew I wasn’t getting enough fat in my diet. You don’t hear that every day.
The consistency was thick but very light like mousse. It became the perfect alternate option for a protein shake. Not only are you still getting a full serving of protein, but avocados are full of healthy fat’s, vitamins, potassium, and fiber.
Chia seeds are full of Omega-3’s, fiber, iron, and calcium.
Over the years I’ve tried different variations. I like this simple version the best. However, you can get crafty with the recipe if you’d like by changing the flavor or adding different fruits. Enjoy!
- 2 Scoops of Arbonne Vegan Vanilla Protein (or Preferred Protein)
- 1 Tsp Chia Seeds
- 1/3 Cup of Almond Milk
- 1 Avocado
Throw all ingredients in a blender and blend until a mousse consistency. Top with a few blueberries, garnish and done!
NOTE: You may have to add more milk in small amounts until it gets to a thick and whipped consistency.
